After seeing a friend play a gig in Sydney 2 years ago, Holly Alexander was lent her friend's guitar.. the beloved instrument traveled back to Melbourne with her and the tale of song writing began for Holly. Next came demos - other players soon joined her with their own distinct sounds. Weekly rehearsals in Sam Black's garage in Reservoir saw early incarnations of the group, setting the foundations for Signal Chain's current kaleidoscopic sounds.
