SILT
Like the peaceful aftermath of a nuclear explosion, in the dust clouds "SILT" has formed. After the death/demise of Five Star Prison Cell and Die Smiling, where Five Star was the sonic intensity of the explosion itself: SILT is the dreamy, peaceful nothingness that comes when chaos finally comes to rest.
Since debuting in 2019, SILT have showcased their dynamic blend of alt-pop and indie-rock over 4 singles. Led by Jess Polain's delicate and vulnerable vocal delivery, she is backed by an exotic blend of guitars, synths and percussion - creating an incandescent and earthy soundscape. After spending the first half of 2021 in the studio, they are now working their way towards their debut EP which will be released later this year.
