Formed amidst the hiatus of 90’s crossover legends Suiciety, SILTMAN emerges as an electrifying Australian alternative rock trio, poised to redefine sonic boundaries. Established in 2016, SILTMAN initially delved into heavy blues before evolving into a genre-defying blend of alternative, heavy metal, groove, progressive rock, and folk. Despite lineup shifts, the trio solidified in 2019 with Ray on guitars/vocals, Daz on bass, and Cristian on drums. The pandemic of 2019 scattered the Melbourne-based trio across Spain and Australia, sparking a creative explosion that reshaped their sound into a more eclectic and dynamic force. Critics have hailed SILTMAN since their debut EP release, with Desert Highways praising it as a masterpiece, and Guitare Xtreme Magazine France drawing comparisons to Beck, John Spencer, and Marilyn Manson. From regular gigs in Melbourne to appearances at festivals like Mornington Street Festival and Pretty Snaz in The Naz, SILTMAN has shared stages with acclaimed acts like Travis Bowlin (USA) and has earned substantial radio play. Their diverse lineup of performances has seen them alongside Full Tone Generator, The Vendettas, I Am Duckeye, Long Holiday, and more.
