Like your music loud? The kind where melody meets double kicks, minus the usual whiney vocals and three chords? Meet Silveira, the latest addition to Brisbane’s progressive rock scene. This four-piece made their debut stage appearance at the beginning of 2010 and have since shared the stage with Closure in Moscow. They are rapidly building a reputation for their vigorous live shows and artistic approach to their musical style. With a debut single to their name they are embarking on a North Queensland this July before production of their forthcoming EP, to be released February next year. Exuding high energy that reflects their aptitude for music, this rising band is ready to take the spotlight in the alternative rock scene.
