Four best mates from Sydney who play classic indie rock ’n’ roll. Tunes are dirty, loud and every gig is a goddamn party! Silver Love Club write 60’s pop songs, decades too late then smash them with classic indie garage sounds. Silver Love Club’s debut offering, Ghost Town, is a rock ’n roll fuck you to governments everywhere impeding our everyday freedoms. Recorded & produced by The Rueben’s Will Zeglis, the band presents a slightly left of centre first single. Shying from their usual faster, fuzzed out, party tracks, Ghost Town, lays passionate dirty vocals over a stomping bass & drum groove. Jangly yet driving guitars & falsetto group vocals create a haunting chorus whilst asking ’Where did we go?’ Ghost Town satirically questions one’s submission to authority, technology & popular culture. In a world saturated by the narrow minded rhetoric of those in power, how can we stay true to ourselves? April 2017 sees the band join fellow Australian’s Julia Jacklin, Hockey Dad, Bad Pony
