Simi Lacroix is Brisbane's favourite 80's music poster boy. A Renaissance man all hung up on modern love. A slimy ass weasel who knows how to write a good tune, with the performance chops to match. Since materialising in 2015 Simi has graced the stage with such names as Neon Indian, Donny Benet, SPOD and Sex on Toast, appearing at festivals and venues across South East Queensland, interstate and internationally, entertaining audiences consistently and thoroughly. Traditionally a solo act, in 2018 Simi finally took the plunge in assembling a crack team of musical co-conspirators to back him on special live ventures. October 2020 sees the release of Simi's debut LP "SIMULACRA" along with a supporting spot for Ball Park Music on their hometown residency at the Triffid in Brisbane.
