Aaron Nakagawa and Simon Llewelyn Evans have been collaborating since 2007. This album: "Collaborations by Simon Evans and Aaron Nakagawa" is a work spanning several years and several continents. The songs were written by Simon Lewelyn Evans in the Fiji Islands, and then, in Melbourne, Australia. When the pieces were ready, Evans sent the songs to Nakagawa, in Kauai, Hawaii. Mr. Nakagawa then worked them to completion using a vast selection of instruments - and, thus, the album: "Collaborations by Simon Evans and Aaron Nakagawa" was created and ready for release. Ulla Saar an artist from Estonia offered to produce the image artwork that is used on the front cover which you see here. To view a more comprehensive gathering of her work than just the one piece you see on the cover of Simon Evans' 2nd album, go direct to www.ullasaar.net to see her work Simon is very grateful for her help and contribution to the album. She is a truly creative artist, in the utmost sense of the word. A
