Sirca is an effulgent 7 piece roots/folk rock monster from Adelaide formed in early 2007. The band quickly became a gigging force around the local circuit and now regularly travels interstate to play shows cementing a presence in the scene and achieving an ever expanding following. On listening to the outfit it is clear that they possess an eclectic sound with many genres being seamlessly incorporated in to a single body of sonic beauty, delivered with all the energy and finesse one would expect from 7 very talented individuals. The outfit is often compared to the Dave Matthews Band, although there is the aesthetic similarity, Sirca are pushing the boundaries and carving their own path through the industry driven almost entirely by word of mouth due to their captivating live shows. Highlights for the year include a tour in April around the country as well as the acclaimed 2009 Fringe Festival where the band headlined a memorable show for a large audience, over 80 CD's were sold on
