Edit history

Siren Black is a 4-piece, psychedelic/stoner/blues-rock band based in Melbourne, Australia. Founded in late 2012 as a two-piece, the band took its current form during 2013 and in 2014 released a debut double A-side, Catfish/Mild Antidote, the lead track of which saw airplay on Australia’s national broadcaster, Triple J. The band has spent a year honing its live chops in the hairy womb that is Melbourne’s sprawling rock scene, hitting mainstay venues such as Cherry, The Bendigo, The Brunswick and The Espy, among others. The live set is tight, dynamic and pinned down by some unrelentingly heavy grooves. With plans to release a full-length album in 2015, Siren Black are looking to make a big statement with their dark, brooding brand of fuzzy, vintage-inspired rock.
