At the age of 17, $killZ walked into a HMV store at parramatta and saw a pink and purple cd. The album was Dj Quik's Rhythmalism. After purchasing the cd he was astonished to hear the guitar's the leads, the percussion and knew one day he'd be able to produce and rap just like the best. That year he set out a way to pave a way to create and make his own music. Using the tools he had in front of him everything was made possible through time and pateince. With barely a 200ghz computer he tried to record using sound recorder just vocals. Cutting, pasting, layering, echoing. That year he released a mixtape for his school in Blacktown over mainsteam commercial beats. Thousands of dollars later with hard studying. $killZ progressed to using keyboards, high quality computer components and preamps to give the clarity the major record companies use to produce his latest solo effort Hollywood Dreamz.
