Edit history

Slacka is a solo band from Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Formed originally by three people, Alexander Alaimo and two of his mates, in early 2018, the band saw action throughout the year whilst playing covers of their influences. However, the band hit a bit of a rough patch by early February 2019, which saw the band reform into a duo. Trekking on into the year, the remaining two continued to record, write and jam up a storm. But by mid-2019, Slacka once again downsized in early June, leaving Alexander Alaimo to continue the band alone. As the sole member, Alexander Alaimo mixes various themes of rock, electronic, and punk into his music, creating dark, heavy, and soulful music, straight from the mind. Whilst Alex often refers to Slacka as being very flexible, he prefers to call it 'Very Alternative', or 'Industrial Techno-Rock'. Whatever that means.
