Newcastle’s alt-rock 4-piece Sleepeaser deliver a unique twist on emo rock. After the release of their debut single ‘Suffer’ in 2018 the band quickly gained momentum and landed themselves an international support slot with Hundredth. Their big, layered, and emotive sound quickly established Sleepeaser as a live act to keep an eye on, supporting international acts such as The Dangerous Summer and Mom Jeans. With live shows brought to a halt during lockdowns,Sleepeaser have been working hard behind closed doors – featuring another side to their sound with the release of the short format acoustic EP ‘Better Lies’ in July 2020. Charged with the emotions influenced by the self-isolation of the last 2 years, theyreleased their single and accompanying video ‘Secrets’ featuring ‘emotive riffs and yearning vocals straight from the emo playbook’ (Dave Ruby Howe, Unearthed), and single 'Homesick' in April21. Their latest single 'Televisionary' is available on all streaming platforms.
