Australian/Scottish two-piece Sleeping Wave is quietly building cross-continental momentum with their debut single, "Cavalry". The track has recently picked up grassroots support from influential Scottish radio personalities Jim Gellatly on AmazingRadio.com and Alistair Braidwood's respected Scots Whay Hae! community radio show, alongside play on Canada's Audio Salad on Radio Waterloo. Closer to home, the band has cracked the number 2 spot on Australia's 'Local Sounds Radio' trending 100 new music chart. Sleeping Wave is an alt-rock/Americana duo bridging the 10,000-mile gap between Melbourne and Edinburgh. The band is comprised of long-time friends and recent music collaborators, Miles Fahey and Simon Whitworth, who originally met while working together in the radio industry. Their music is tracked, performed, and produced by Miles at his home studio in Melbourne. This solid Australian music foundation is seamlessly paired with Simon's evocative, Scottish-penned lyrics and vocals to create a gritty alt rock with touches of country and classic rock. New single, Cavalry, out now on all streaming platforms.
