Slim Jeffries is the brainchild of five close mates with a passion for DND and relentlessly heavy rock music. Since cutting their teeth in the sweaty band rooms of Melbourne's inner north, the band has steadily built one of the smallest cult followings in Australian music. Deep in Melbourne's underground rock scene, there are a handful people who will earnestly tell you that Slimmos are the best pub band in the country. It's a bit like every country town claiming to have the best pie. You don't have to agree, but you can't prove them wrong. The band released their debut EP 'Loose Change' in 2019 to glowing reviews from the likes of triple j hosts Bryce Mills, Declan Byrne and Zan Rowe, with singles 'Speak Up Son' and 'My Silver Medal' receiving radio rotation in both Australia and the UK. After a brief hiatus through the pandemic, Slimmos are back with a vengeance and are on the verge of releasing their debut album aptly titled 'R.O.I.' in 2023. Best enjoyed live, loud and loose.
