Emotive. Melodic. Raw. Slow Talk returns in 2023 with a new take on their heavy-hearted and high-energy songwriting. Drawing comparisons to alternative rock icons Circa Survive and Citizen, the pair have received critical acclaim from industry tastemakers such as triple J (Short.Fast.Loud), Killyourstereo, and Hysteria Mag for their characteristically melodic and emotive sound. Slow Talk is James Butler (Vocals) and Ash Fuller (Guitar). “A perfect example of what emotionally expressive music should sound like.” - Overdrive Music “Slow Talk have put themselves forward as one of alt-rock’s most versatile upcoming names” - Pilerats “To place a genre on these guys is simply impossible, as the crisp melodical vocals combine with the mesmerising guitars to create a sound like something I’ve never heard before.” - Depth Magazine “Dudes know their way around making charged up rock tracks. It’s full of angst and drama” - Dave Ruby Howe
