It started out with an argument between 2 guys who thought they knew more about The Beatles & Rolling Stones than each other and led to several Jagger dance offs. After almost 6 months of liquid inspiration, writing and not listening to any record past 1978 they put together a band to perform their 60's and 70's inspired songs. The slug adventures began around Melbourne with regular performances at venues including Prince of Wales, Brunswick Hotel, Revolver and a residency at The Espy. Influences include but are not limited to... Beatles, Stones, Bowie, The Doors, Hendrix, The Who, Brian Wilson, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Tame Impala, Chuck Berry, Zeppelin, Cream. http://www.youtube.com/user/sluggerandthestone Peace & Love, Slugs Out!
