With a love of music ranging from Muddy Waters to Icehouse, Miles Davis to Tame Impala, the lads always approach the music making process as if it were their last. The name Smile Don't Smile plays with the paradox of true thoughts and feelings; it's an awareness of what's going on inside, when faced with the pressures of the outside world. Or conversely, expressing yourself on the outside, though feeling the exact opposite within.
