There's something not to trust about SMILE. They're deceptive. We're living in a post-dolewave world. The economies up, house prices are soaring, burgers are artisanal yet these guys from Melbourne don't appear to care about property investments. You'd think they'd be a cool breeze, a setting sun, but on their sophomore album, 'Rhythm Method' they're throwing pop hooks, a snare drum jab, a vocal uppercut. WTF? One starts to wonder if these guys even voted for the Tone Dog! It's fair dinkum UN-OZtralian. Invest in your future, invest in APP developments, invest in liquid superannuation is what these guys should be doing. Then again maybe they just have. They can't be trusted

Bio history
Bursting through the thin, hymen-esque membrane that separates the live music scene from garage practices in mid '04, Smile popped their collective cherry with avengance on the USYD band comp, progressing all the way to the 2nd round (!). With a series of sporadic, intermittent gigs falling like ejaculate onto a hooker's hungry face throughout '05 and '06, Smile has been a consummate trendsetter in awesomeness and coolery, gracing such prodigious venues as the Cat and Fiddle, The Hopetoun Hotel, Manning Bar, The Mandarin Club, The Clubhouse (RIP) and Nathan's 20th birthday in his backyard with both their presence and their sheer musical virtuosity. What now lies in wait for Smile? Groupies and accolades, undoubtedly, but the winner of JJJ Unearthed!? IS THAT WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR THIS post-emo-neo-melodic-death-rock-comedy-metal BAND?! Experts respond with a unanimous "maybe".
Hi I'm Smile. I love to write music, and listen to music. I started writing music when I was 13, and have enjoyed the process of it ever since. I love taking inspiration from multiple genres and combining them together in my own unique style. I have just recently released my first album on Spotify, with many more tracks on their way.
