Their friendship ensued as they worked as musicians and interns in Sydney’s recording industry gaining production knowledge and access to recording studios where they began tracking original demos blending live hip hop/rock beats with folk, classic blues and heavy rock. Miles Thomas joined the group on drums in 2012 allowing Smoke and Silver to play a string of live shows throughout the year and add live recording elements to their music. Independently Smoke and Silver released three singles over the past year. These tunes reveal and striking chameleonic vocals , big beats, smouldering blues Guitar, nice Synth work, a love of classic rock, crafty lyrics and most importantly solid song writing.
