Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter SMP (Sean) Donovan is influenced by the progressive rock thinking of no musical boundaries. Consequently his music ranges across styles and defies easy definition. Sean learnt piano and guitar as a kid and sung with several choirs such Bankstown Police Boys Choir. He has also appeared in a number of stage productions and musicals from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (at around age 5) to Grease and West Side Story. Since leaving school he has performed as a singer, keyboardist, guitarist, and bass player with Blues Dan, The Donovan Connection, and The Allman Street Band as well as solo. His current projects include work with The Allman Street Band, Tube of Venus and various Country Music artists. He continues to write and record original music.
