Born of the creative comradery of drummer Chris Johnson and vocalist/guitarist Mark Irons, Snowtown came into existence with the inclusion of Steve Cassell's layered guitar styling and Andrew Archibalds ever-moving bass expertise. Well received in their hometown of Brisbane, Queensland, Snowtown has entertained crowds of 2 to 200+ and is set to release their third EP for Christmas 2006. Entirely self-funded by hard earned finances and stoic belief, Snowtown's goal remains connection, and with a firm basis of friendship soldered through trying times, the band hopes to offer something that listeners can appreciate far beyond the first five listens.
