Sep '11 SOCK is a collaborative duo - beginning this year Gareth and I (Ben) have been meeting weekly in a converted hairdressers turned theatre / jam space and writing songs and learning our instruments. Now we have moved to above a dip factory in Abbotsford. Four months ago we had enough songs to play a short 40 min set for friends and enemies; who brought their own beer and champagne, screamed cheers of encouragement, and shouted inappropriately at us. It was tops. We then put some songs up here and someone invited us to a competition. We won and played at the next round, which we won as well.
