Sol’s more recent work showcases influence from his British heritage combined with North Queensland tongue and cheek, and could be wedged between a take of Jamie T and The Chats along with he's original style of rap and clever word play. Spending his early life in Torres Strait Islands and Townsville, Sol began finding himself on the page, which eventually lead to a detailed course performing to crowds. With opportunities to perform alongside Illy, Bliss N Eso, Thundamentals, Allday and Xzibit, the path was quite clear. The sudden move to Melbourne boosted his love for creativity, and has since become a neccesity in his day-to-day activity., Sol’s music has become a destination for his growing listenership, and for those who relate to the day-to-day grind seeking a break.
