Something Deeper was the brainchild of young and enthusiastic musicians Peter Rogers and Simon Curry at the end of 2004. Having thrown the idea of forming the band around for several months, Peter and Simon called on the help of talented guitars and bass player Rhys Channing. Getting together every other week, the guys put their creativity to the test and began recording in Rhys' bedroom, and not too soon after they had formed a demo CD with 7 songs on it. Most of which were copied and illegal to take. However it did spout a fan favourite track in 'Extreme Variables' [Little Billy] and the ever-funny Studio tracks. Having being doing this for the end of 2005, the band took it to the next level in 2006 brining on board manic drummer Aaron Miller and mellow guitarist Greg Webster and plans for the their first album 'Something Sad, Something Optimistic' and a first gig were well underway. Unfortunately due to future commitments Simon had to leave the band, much to the disappointment
