The home recorded 'field dispensary of the soul' album was recorded by Dom using a kick drum, chair, fender jag-stang guitar, violin bow, broken distortion pedal, now completely broken toy keyboard, mattress (low bass kick in 'ice ice zippy'), a hoody zip (hip hop scratching sound in 'ice ice zippy'), maracas, tambourine (now destroyed) and glockenspiel. This was the blueprint for an understated, deconstructed project. casually delirious, hypnotic, percussive, unafraid of displaying emotion, without soppiness. attitude without peacocking. the next stage required a band to execute the material live.
