Sonicman is a Brisbane-based 4-piece rock/pop outfit with a large repertoire of songs and one EP and 2 albums behind them. With members from America, France, South Africa and Australia we boast diverse influences and musical styles which we meld into our unique brand of pop/alt/punk/indie/rock. It’s difficult to categorize but once heard, impossible to forget! In 2017/18 we made it to the national final of the Emergenza ‘Battle of the Bands’ held at The Metro in Sydney, after winning the Queensland state final held at the Triffid. We’re looking to build on this success and showcase our music to a wider audience. The band comprises Frank Detaille on guitar and lead vocals, Steve Hatcher on lead guitar and vocals, Adam Taylor on bass and Rohan Johnson on drums and vocals.
