Sordid Ordeal are a colossal rock band from Naarm (Melbourne, Australia), a musical tour de force and foundation band of the Stout Rock genre. Their sound is an amalgamation of folkish story-telling & ballads with blistering, mangy rock and epic anthems. They weld together the abrasive & heavy with the gentle & intimate, creating an incendiary mix of subversion and hedonism. Their debut album ‘When I Left Town’ was released in February 2024 and premiered on the Australian Independent Record charts at #8. Launched to a capacity crowd in Melbourne, the record drew critical acclaim from Triple M Radio, Heavy Mag and several other publications. The band is now preparing to release their follow-up album ‘Nothing Was The Same Again’, due to be unleashed in 2025
