Sorin Vanzino is an 18-year-old musician and songwriter from Hobart. He writes emotionally charged stories and songs which he loves to share with all who will listen. ‘I am not a Spartan’ was recorded in Sorin’s loungeroom over two bleak Tassie winter days with Callum Coleman and Oscar Bosch (the production team behind Kat Edward’s stunning debut EP Sunk). It features wonderful contributions from some dear friends. Sorin is also the drummer in Tasmanian Indie Rock band The Tinderboxers, and a self-professed music addict.
