Soula is a five piece rock/ funk band whose main concern is that everyone has a good time. With the help of powerfully energetic vocalist, Teila Packman, the crowd is always found moving to the groove. Catchy hooks, fat riffs, sexy sax solos and tight beats combine to make an infectious and unique sound that Melbourne has been looking for. Soula was conceived in 2011 on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, but wasn’t fully birthed until recently after a relocation down south. It was in Melbourne that the band found the sound that truly represents them. Soula prides itself on creating a vibrant, upbeat atmosphere with a highly entertaining and memorable stage show. The past few years has seen Soula performing across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria to well received audiences in venues and at festivals alike. Loaded with talent, determination and drive, the eager act plan to spread their tasty sounds across the country and afar.
