Sound of Troy is an upcoming Melbourne band, launching their first three original tracks, Ice Age, If Only and Time. Troy and Sam, local Melbourne boys, have been playing together for two years, with Troy’s voice injecting life into the many songs Sam has been writing for over a decade. The two draw on the talent of other musicians on their first album Grip or Slip, including a violinist, pianist and bass player. Produced by Australia’s Peter ‘Reggie’ Bowman of Scream Louder Productions, the band is hoping their first album will sky rocket them to stardom, confident the fans will love their music! Ice Age was inspired by the AFL’s Ben Cousins’ very public journey with drug addiction and recovery and Time was written and dedicated to Sam’s late mother, Natalina.
