A Surf Rock band nestled between the headlands of the Coffs Coast. The trio started in 2016, emerging from their hibernation cocoons, bouncing around like idiots, they united together to play music and form a sweet band. The sound of jangling chords filled the salty air and from that day on the Rypies where born. Some say they were raised by wolves and others say they where made in a test tube. The boys have already released an 8 track EP "Recess" this year and are expected to tour throughout early 2017. Gigging up and down the coast, catching waves and drinking beer, the Sour Rypes are playing some catchy tunes. Full of energy the tracks from Recess will consume you, with hard hitting rhythm and surf rock punch.
