When four Melbourne friends decided to escape their daily grind and write some guitar songs, no one thought the final product would be South Pines. Contemplative, moody, progressive and diverse, South Pines deliver consistent melodic post-rock reminiscent of the early 90s with little to no humour. Drawing upon influences such as Sonic Youth, You Am I, Dinosaur Jr and many others, South Pines are ready and willing, with a strong live sound that’s familiar and full of energy, their songs relay a love for music, life and lessons learned.
