southcoast is all about kicking back and playing some good tunes. The Indie Folk/Acoustic three piece started out in the early Autumn of 2010 when they decided to take a step away from their rock covers to discover their own unique sound. Southcoast was originally known as simplicity though due to the commonness of the word the band changed to southcoast as this is where the members were all brought up. southcoast first stepped into the live music scene with their performance at the "Off The Couch Acoustic night" in March 2011 which saw them take out first place - a free days worth of recording at FAT TRAX in the city. The band grasped this opportunity and recorded the above a 5 song demo tape. Keep your eyes peeled and ears pricked on the Adelaide indie music scene for us
