Started in 2012, Southeast's core members Richard, Alex and Chris have been jamming sounds together since they first discovered their shared drive to play. Over time, songs developed out of those sessions blending sounds of rock, indie, punk, and more. Vocal harmonies and weaving guitar and bass parts set the foundation upon which these tracks are built. In 2014 the band and their song, Skeletons, are to feature in a Sydney short film, giving the group the opportunity to share their sound to a wider audience and hone their abilities. An EP is soon to follow, amalgamating the work to date and demonstrating the variety of sounds Southeast can produce.
