Southern Break started out in '07 as Craig and Duffell having a few beers and jamming down in craigs shack/garage. Once they started to write their own music, a bass player was needed and so Jackson hit the scene on the bass guitar. Southern Break was then formed. Southern Break play a variety of acoustic and surf rock with a bit of roots and reggae music thrown into the mix. Plans for the band are to continue jamming and to go for a surf. all in all just keep paddling
