Operating where electronica and RnB meet hook-driven alt-pop, Spectoral is a sonic chameleon drawing mainstream pop to the fringes of modern sound design. The project delivers melancholic euphoria and nostalgic intimacy for those who demand high-calibre musicality. With a fiercely independent catalogue boasting over 1.4 million streams, Spectoral has consistently proven his capacity to cut through the noise. This trajectory has regularly caught the ear of local tastemakers, with Triple J's Dave Ruby Howe noting his ability to "deliver highly detailed productions with unshakable earworm qualities at their core". This precision is fuelled by a complex Afro-Mauritian, Danubian, and Australian diaspora, seamlessly interlacing ultramodern production with raw, confessional storytelling. His definitive debut album, BACKLIGHTS THAT BLIND US, secured three Spotify Editorial placements, delivering a world-class domestic export ready for heavy rotation.
