Since forming in early 2016, Spencer Vine’s unique catchy pop-punk sound and energetic live show are quickly establishing them as a must see a band in the vibrant rock and roll community of their hometown of Melbourne, Australia. Mixing elements of punk, roots and folk, the band is gaining traction in their infancy. Consistent live shows have led to positive reviews from fans and punk rock alumni alike with comparisons made to bands such as Jimmy Eat World, Motion City Soundtrack and Jeff Rosenstock. The band currently has a single out entitled “Gallows” available on Bandcamp and Triple J’s Unearthed. This modern, aggressive take on the traditional breakup song has been described as a teaser to a much anticipated 2018 Debut EP. Look out for local live shows and more music to come soon.
