It all started last New Years Eve at The 'Dale where crazy (but experienced) Pat came up with this weird concept of forming a 2 piece instrumental to challenge the status quo. Lisa put down her guitar, picked up some sticks and spiL was formed. Growing up listening to the J's & going to any live venue they could, spiL's music can not be put into any one genre. This love of music has inspired them to think outside the square & create music influenced by EVERYONE. spiL have just recently put these (and other) tracks down at LA Studios, for the first time they have had the pleasure of finally hearing themselves play and are now finding that the lyrical bug is gnawing their creative minds. So here-in lies the seed of spiL, some tracks will remain emotively instrumental, others will have emotive lyrics.... whatever may be spiL = fun. Please feel free to give us feedback of what you think of our very first recording we welcolme your comments :)
