Spirit Store creates music that is orchestrated around sibling harmonies and dynamic instrumentation. With atmospheric and theatrical sounds, Spirit Store shapes a musical tension that is highly original. Fronted by Matty Gurry and his twin sisters Julia and Sarah, Spirit Store stage an evocative and emotionally intricate performance. Their songs possess an epic quality that drives the narratives through a journey into seasons and yearnings. Spirit Store recorded their first EP ‘Prologue’ at the end of 2005 and in 2006 it was a finalist in the APRA Contemporary Music Awards.
