Splat Acrobat are a five piece, Brisbane, indie guitar band. While influenced by bands such as The Velvet Underground, REM, The Church, Ride and various Flying Nun label bands of the 1980’s, Splat Acrobat craft their own distinctive sound; combining infectious melodies, bright sunny left field pop, and harmonic wall of sound guitars. Splat Acrobat's track 'Scaleen', from their independent Scaleen EP, has been described as a Brisbane pop classic - reminiscent of early Go-Betweens. The band have also released 'Galore', recorded live in the studio, to document the depth of their songs and sound.
