In 2009, Orlando Mason and Andreas McCarthy decided to fuse their musical knowledge to form Sploosh. The result was a heavily influenced storm of Nirvana sounding Grunge. After a couple of gigs, they decided to back off on the heavyness of their sound, going for a more groove orientated sound and thus coined the genre Groove Grunge. Since then Sploosh have recorded a follow up EP which is currently been mixed by the band.
