Edit history

Splurge has released three independent albums—Splurge (1999), Heavy Weather (2002) and The Cure For The Cure (2007). The band has a new album Wait For The Sun in the works (Splurge pictured during pre-production at The Cabin, Hall‘s Gap) and recently launched Splurge Unheard, a fans-only exclusive collection of rarities to support its soon-to-be-launched Pozible project. The collection includes new mixes of three never-before-heard tracks—one from each Splurge album—that for one reason or another were not completed at the time, and six other unreleased and rare recordings. Something About Love (Splurge), Under Your Thumb (Heavy Weather) and Kiss Me (The Cure For The Cure) have been mixed by Melbourne gear maestro David Sullivan and mastered by Jim DeMain, Yes Master, Nashville. Kiss Me will be released in 2014 on PB 100 the long-awaited 100th release from influential Melbourne label Popboomerang Records, which will feature rare and exclusive tracks from their stable of bands.
