Stemming from regional Victoria the boys have been honing their musical skills in the Melbourne confines for the last 6 years. Good friends since high school and playing in various bands since then, the 4 only decided to collaborate in a shared musical effort in early 2011 that is SpyKite. SpyKite lends itself to a Hard Rock influence with a Progressive nature. Electronic elements are infused also, yet more as a driving undertone or atmospheric backing throughout their music. Currently in the pre-production process, SpyKite aims to begin their recording process in 2012. Their pre-proudction tracks are going to be available to listen to throughout the year as they finish each one. Gigging has also started in the local Melbourne scene so keep an ear out for their shows and get down to show your support.
