Tapping into that rich vein of alt.folk and country beats, ex-pat Australian Brett Augustine, armed with his trusty Cole Clark guitar has been plying his trade in his adopted land of Canada since 2010. From early beginnings sourcing out the Vancouver open mic scene, meeting a plethora of local muso's and constant jamming, St.Augustine has slowly built up a steady following supporting acts such as Jeff Martin (The Tea Party), Epicure, Goodwood Atoms, Treelines and Coldwater Road. With an isolate reverberant in the voice, a shuffle slow-hand twang emanating from the southpaw's axe, his songs can console you in the darkest of times ... and bring much feverish joy in others.
