At it’s most powerful, music transcends barriers, uniting people who on the surface may seem to have little in common. Such is the case with the music of St.Paul, a rapper/ singer/ producer whose music has a style and substance that can bridge the gap between young and old, male and female, urban and suburban. His music explores the timeless and universal themes of love, loss, betrayal and determination in the face of all that life places in our path. St.Paul’s character has many layers and this is reflected in the multiple dimensions that his music touches. His father was a postman, his mother a civil servant, and they worked hard to bring up St.Paul – the youngest of three children. Their home was always full of foreign travelers to whom they gave food and board as a way of obtaining extra money to pay the bills and keep a roof over their heads. Growing up with a house full of Europeans, Asians, Africans who for the duration of their stay would live as part of the St.Paul family,
