When the thought hit Melbourne Producer C1 to create a 'Starting 5' of Melbourne Artists he works with, no one had any idea how quickly it would all come together. Two months and 6 songs later, the St. Vitus Cardinals have now released their debut EP, 'The Basketball Diaries'. Comprised of producer C1, and rappers Allday, 23, Peezo and Ry the group came together looking to create a 'Team' which embodied the same mentality they apply to their own individual art. This approach not only supports their music but also exemplifies their perceptions of youth culture and the direction they wish to take within the local scene.
