Meet Stagger. They’re a four piece shoegaze indie rock band from Awabakal Country (Newcastle). Drawing inspiration from artists The Belair Lip Bombs, Sleepazoid along with countrygaze acts Wednesday and post-hardcore band Turnstile, they blend dreamy guitars and heavy riffs to find the balance between angst and relief. Their lyrics draw emotion from love and loss from a personal yet universal level, punching hard at the current unrest of the world while also paying tribute to the ones around them who mean the most. They’re set to release their next single 'Ever' on the 11th of February, celebrating by embarking on their debut headline tour in NZ and along the Aus East Coast.
