Born in the Bronx, New York City on 24th November 1981 but raised in Harlem, Stan “BRAVO” Campbell is a product of hip hop culture. Being influenced by the likes of Run DMC, LL Cool J, Biggie Smalls, Big L & Tupac Shakur, “Growing up in the 80’s in New York, I was too young to really digest the music but it wasn’t until 1994 when I heard the Notorious B.I.G’s ‘Ready To Die’ LP that I said to myself. After his mother met an Australian man who would later become his step father, at the age of 16, Stan and his family relocated to Sydney's Blacktown area. About the making such a big move at such a young age Bravo says "When I came out here I struggled to adapt, so I wrote. It was my therapy, you know? After that I began making friends and they (and my cousin) would encourage me to rap for real so I began looking into it and never looked back. Since then, Stan has taken the industry by storm. Opening up for the likes or Nelly and Busta, cracking the top 10 and receiving two award noms.
