I'm Sam Shields, and this project is called Staple Surgery. I have been playing music since I was 16, I'm now 21 and I've played in many screamo, rock and punk bands. I always felt limited in playing in bands to just guitars and drums and the odd synth. I attempt to recreate the rough energy of post rock/punk music but stray from guitars and basically try something different. I want to make a lot of sound come out of one person, me and put some energy and soul into it, with some quirky elements to keep it interesting.
