Stardiner came together a few years back when 3 Perth lads crossed paths. Damon Smith (guitar, keys and lead vocals), Justin Townsend (drums) and Dain Fewings (bass), spent their formative years honing their sound on the Perth indie scene before taking their balls in their hands and moving to Melbourne to have a crack at the 'bigtime'. It has been an eventful journey. The story is still being written and STARDINER listeners and fans know it will continue to be a great journey. STARDINER are playing right now and are an amazing act live... The latest music from the band has been heavily influenced by both the move from Perth and the people and places of Melbourne. The addition of keys and more earthy vocals on the recordings has been a sweet thing indeed and has allowed the group to progress into a no bollocks, bare chested and in your face rock band. The third track on the new EP, 'The White at my Fingertips' has been unbelievably sucessfull with fans and friends of 'THE DINER'.
